Does anyone know of a reputable orthopedist, that specializes in hands, wrists, carpal tunnel? My left hand keeps going numb, the last tell-tale sign. I have to get to a doctor before my insurance runs out.
Do you have an HMO plan or can you just go see any ole doctor? If the latter, I'd recommend calling up the Ortho dept at OHSU. I'm not sure what they'll tell you besides the usual though: wear the brace, keep wrists straight, etc, take prednosone when/if it gets really really bad (last resort).
Thanks, I'll do that, call OHSU that is, but for the advice, I'll see what I can do about your request.
Problem is I don't type anymore, so there is no reason for it to be messed up. Also, last resort for me sounds like surgery. So, I'm not too sad about hormones. I need a proper diagnosis and some real treatment, other than brace/ibuprofen. Argh.

Oh, and get me some percocet while you're at it.
