Sea monkeys are real!! After staring at the tank for five minutes, trying to convince myself that the non-moving white orbs were seamonkeys, several real ones decided to start swimming around.
Anyone have a big magnifying glass?

Well, the funny is that the new pictures for the sea monkeys are lame. not remotely sexy, so there is a double layer of disappointment.
However, I went into this project assuming nothing at all would happen, so that now that I have at least 50 little guys swimming around, I'm rather pleasantly surprsed.
If you do find a magnifying glass, you'll prolly want to take special care in not to use it to examine them with sunlight behind you. It'd be horrible to cook the little one's by accident.
Oh yes, and congratulations, great giver of life.
true dat...I didn't really think about it. I wonder then, cuz the tank itself has four magnifying lens-type glass on it, though only on one side. likely should turn that bugger around.
